Harmony Paints the Mall Red at the Beaver County Valentine’s Day Senior Fair

Harmony Home Healthcare had the honor of sponsoring the Beaver County Valentine’s Day Senior Fair on Wednesday, February 14th at the Beaver Valley Mall.  Over 100 seniors attended, donning their festive red and showing off their Harmony Hearts.  “This was an excellent opportunity to educate the seniors on the services Harmony provides, which will help them remain in their homes with a continuum of care as their needs for extra help increase,” says Harmony’s Director of Community Development, Jamie Bayer.

“Many people think that Medicare or Long-Term Care Insurance will provide for their needs as they age, but that is only partially true,” Bayer says.  While Harmony can work with both Medicare and Long-Term Care Insurance to fill some of the needs, there may still be a gap in resources.  This is where Harmony’s private duty services come into play.  “Harmony, through their private duty services, will meet with the families and develop a plan of care which could be the difference between aging in place at home or being placed in a facility,” Bayer says.
