With 22 million Americans, including 1 in 5 Pennsylvanians, currently unemployed due to the pandemic, we find ourselves, at Harmony, to be blessed to have gainful employment. Now, more than ever, is the time for our company and teams to be driven by our core values, not only in how we conduct our business, but also in support of the communities we serve.
In an effort to support the Greater Pittsburgh and Westmoreland County Food Banks, as well as our many neighbors relying on their donations to feed their families, we will be coordinating a “Stuff a Kia” donation drive.
We’ll be collecting donations of non-perishable food items at our Harmony Home Care office at 8960 Hill Drive in Irwin from April 20-29. We will also coordinate to pick-up any donations that cannot be dropped off. In addition, we will also be accepting monetary donations via Venmo, user name @Capital-Healthcare.
Each employee who donates financially or through nonperishable food items will be eligible to win one of five $50 gift cards!
Harmony will also be honoring our “Front-Line Heroes” by donating a nickel for every hour worked by our nurses and caregivers to various local food banks in the communities we serve for the next seven weeks. We hope to make donations to support individuals throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania. We are so proud of the continued effort made by our amazing field staff to provide exceptional care, especially in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, and are grateful for the opportunity to honor them by serving our communities even further!
We thank you for your support in our donation campaign, and look forward to all that we can accomplish together!
